This coffee shop is a student-led placebased learning project. The students were part of a program through the IHCDA (Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority). The program called My Community My Vision allowed for a fundraising campaign where the project could receive a 1:1 match. John and Pam Larson donated the building and the group raised $67,000 and got a $50,000 match. The students are excited to create a place for people to gather, get free Wi-Fi, meaningfully volunteer, and get a good cup of coffee or snack.
