Ad Astra Books & Coffee House is more than just a comfortable and interesting place to meet, hang out, study, drink coffee, have breakfast and buy books. We aim to be a leading cultural center for regional arts and literature, and a thriving community gathering place. Whether it be a place for live music, author readings, poetry nights, book signings, film showings, children's theater, etc., our programming and outreach has come to define our greater mission: to keep the torch of the imagination lit and to use it to reveal this place called Kansas and these undeniably Great Plains.
